What did I learn?
I learned what round-ups mean. In this article it explains how helpful it can be for parents, kids and teachers to have a type of "open house" before starting school. It is mentioned that they want to make this 6 months earlier. What else do I want to learn?
I think that this approach towards kids and parents is very good, but I also think that maybe after the six months, a week before school starts they can meet again so that the kid does not forget the teachers face, and the environment of the school and this way they will be more associated and familiarized with the school and will know that this is where they are going to be away from mom, but will start their new life as students.
